Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 22 October 2025 – Dubai-based carrier flydubai has announced the signing of seven new interline agreements, expanding its growing network of partnerships to more than 40 airlines.
The new partnerships are with:
- Aegean Airlines (Greece) and ITA Airways (Italy) in Europe.
- Four Chinese carriers: Air China, China Eastern Airlines, Hainan Airlines and Sichuan Airlines.
- Myanmar Airways International (Myanmar) in Southeast Asia
Through its European partners, flydubai passengers will gain access to more than 30 destinations across Greece, Italy, and the rest of Europe, including cities such as Amsterdam, Athens, Brussels, Frankfurt, Madrid, Munich, Thessaloniki, Turin, and Venice. The Asian partnerships will open up more than 90 destinations across the Far East and Southeast Asia, including Beijing, Chongqing, Hangzhou, Ho Chi Minh City, Shanghai, and Yangon.
These interline agreements will enable a seamless travel experience, allowing passengers to enjoy single-ticket itineraries, through-checked baggage, and smoother connections across flydubai’s and partner airlines’ networks.
Commenting on the announcement, Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer at flydubai, said:
“These agreements will provide our passengers even more flexibility and choice when planning their travel, offering access to our partners’ route networks across key markets in Asia and Europe. At the same time, more passengers will be able to access Dubai as a leading destination for tourism and business, reaffirming its position as an international aviation hub.”
This announcement comes in the wake of the carrier’s recent announcement offering complimentary meals and in-flight entertainment for all Economy Class passengers, in a move that underscores the airline’s evolution from a traditional low-cost carrier to a value-focused airline.
flydubai currently operates a single-type fleet of 95 Boeing 737 aircraft comprising 27 Next-Generation 737-800s, 65 737 MAX 8s, and 3 737 MAX 9s and serves more than 135 destinations across 57 countries. Interline itineraries under the new agreements can be booked via flydubai.com, travel agents, and online travel agencies.
